The Company

Harris & Butterworth (Deia Property Sales and Management SL) is an independent British real estate agency, specialising in property sales and property management. Offering unique and distinctive homes for sale, coupled with professional and personal service, positions us as the number one choice for property services in Deia and the surrounding areas.

Our local knowledge and global network has encouraged many clients to give us instructions on properties that are not openly advertised. We are happy to receive your enquiries and to discuss them with you. Not only do we offer property sales and property management in Deia, but also in Valldemosa, Fornalutx and Soller.

Julian Cunningham

Julian has over ten years experience in the real estate industry. He completed a BSc Hons degree in Real Estate Management at Oxford Brookes University. While studying for his degree Julian worked for a prestigious estate agency, selling country houses in Oxfordshire, before moving on to high end residential sales for a company in the Thames Valley.

After graduating Julian accepted a position with the Berkeley Group, where he looked after sales at two landmark developments in central London.  An invitation to join the international residential team at Knight Frank’s head office in London followed; Julian rapidly rose through the ranks to become an Associate Partner.

At Knight Frank International Julian was responsible for sales in a number of outstanding locations around the world; these included Morroco, Barbados, Nevis, Grenada, Bahamas, Sardinia, Portugal, Spain, USA and the Balearics. This local and international market exposure means that Julian benefits from a wealth of contacts with the added support network of Knight Frank International in London.

During his years of international travel Julian worked with Harris & Butterworth. Visits to Deia convinced him that Deia was the place to be. So when the opportunity to purchase Harris & Butterworth was presented, Chloe and Julian decided that a move from England was a must.

Chloe Hill

Chloe brings her own wealth of experience to Harris & Butterworth. She has had the good fortune to work for industry leaders in design, retail and IT. Responsibility for key accounts alllowed Chloe to build a substantial foundation and knowledge of best practice, and to how to deliver in all areas of the Harris & Butterworth business.

As a graduate of the KLC School of Design in Chelsea, London, she studied interior design and decoration. Chloe not only has a keen eye for overall style, but for detail as well. Linked with experience and successes in marketing and customer relations it becomes clear why her skills have been central in the re-establishment of the Harris & Butterworth brand as the number one choice for property sales and management.

Both Chloe and Julian feel fortunate to live and work in the idyllic village of Deia. It is a joint ambition to now, through Harris & Butterworth, share a very real enthusiasm for Deia and Mallorca with others who become captivated by the island.

The Office

The office is located opposite La Residencia, on the corner of Deia high street. We are open six days a week, with our properties also on view in our windows as well as this website. We are available at all times to answer enquiries about properties. Feel free to contact us.

Saturday  11.00am - 1.00pm      Sunday by appointment
